Yale CEID Workshop: Light as Material
Students from Yale, Brown, Harvard, and RISD spent the day exploring the material properties of light. The compact florescent light bulb was our point of departure. We explored the light it produces in relation to a palette of materials, prototyping quickly, iteratively building upon the insights of others, and critiquing our work as we shifted from conversation to exploration, and back to conversation. Students documented the process. This is some of what they experienced.
Workshop hosted at the Yale Center for Engineering, Innovation, and Design and facilitated by Ian Gonsher, Joe Zinter, Beth Altringer, and Neils Cosman.
