Experiments with Light and Text 2017

This is a first iteration of device that translates colors into music, each hue correlated to a particular tone. The concept is based on a ritual object that is used for reading Torah called a yad, literally "hand". A yad is used to help read the text, and it is intended to enhance attention and intention (Kavanah) while doing so. This is part of a project that translates the text of the Torah into color/light, and this yad translates that color into sound.
